Installation GAIA 

PURPOSE
To mark the International Day of Happiness and Earth Day by presenting the shopping centre’s visitors with an installation by a world-famous artist inspired by globally relevant themes. 

SOLUTION
For the first time in Lithuania, we presented GAIA, an installation by artist Luke Jerram that has toured to many countries worldwide. Based on NASA astronauts’ photographs and accurately replicating the Earth’s appearance, the artwork allowed shopping centre visitors to see the Earth as if they were flying through space and viewing it from above. The installation was complemented by a specially created sound composition by BAFTA award-winning composer Dan Jones. The piece garnered significant media interest and attracted over 130,000 visitors throughout the month, who actively shared their impressions on social media.
